A one week portrait of a restless young man, dying to grow up, in the tragic farce of a circus-like society.
Amin(18) and his best friend Amadou (18) grew up in CACHEUX MALOR, a suburb built on the edge of a wheat field, far from cosmopolitan Paris.
CACHEUX MALOR is designed to force all life into the public: the courtyard between the buildings is the stage where the citizens polish their image and play their part. Amin and Amadou often flee to a nearby forest to escape this tiresome spectacle and to find intimacy.
But Amadou, hungry for more, runs off to Paris in the search of new adventures and leaves Amin behind.
He meets JF (28), the decadent prince of Cacheux, and starts working for him. Delivering stolen goods brings new perspective to Amin and a euphoric liberty.
Free spirit, Amin enters a bursting path that shakes Cacheux to its foundations and leads him to a tragic and ephemeral reuniting with Amadou.
